OUR TEN-YEAR ODYSSEY SEARCHING FOR A DAILY DRIVER

From 2002 through 2009 our daily driver was a Buick Roadmaster Woody  I gave my wife a Mercedes Sportscoupe, which she didn't care to drive, so we sold it, but it had collector car tags, so we couldn't use it as a daily driver.

In 2009, I decided that we had better get a daily driver to save wear and tear on the Buick wagon. These cars are getting scarce, especially low mileage wagons in good condition. In all, we have had 14 cars since October, 2002. You can read about them on their specific pages below.

The Roadmaster Estate Wagon now sits in the garage most of the time gaining in value. We bought it in 2007 for $3600 and according to the January, 2022 Hemmings Magazine, it is now selling at auctions for an average of $22,000!  I fill the tank no more than once a year.
