THE LASER - A WET BOAT, BUT LOTS OF FUN!

A couple with three small children just gave me two boats, a Scorpion (Sunfish clone) and a Laser II. This is their down payment on a family boat, to be picked up next spring. Smart decision! 

The Scorpion needs a lot of work, but the Laser only needs a couple of shrouds. After a few dings and scratches are fixed, the boat will get new red and white paint.  The Laser II is a fast boat that is fun to sail, and it will definitely make someone a happy sailor! 

The Laser normally has only a main sail of 76 ft²  and no jib, but the Laser II also has a jib.  About a quarter million Lasers have been built since their introduction in 1971.
