I purchased this 12-foot IC Dinghy with the trailer after finding it on Craigslist.
According to http://www.interclub.org
about 700 of these boats were built and they have been popular for winter sailing in the Frostbite
Class since the early thirties! The ICs were made by different companies and I believe this one was
built by Oday (see 1967 ad below). The hull is of tough layered fiberglass and can withstand collisions
with ice chunks. The Interclub is an 11' 6" dinghy with a single 70 sq. ft. marconi rigged sail.
It is sailed by two crew. There are many frostbite races on the East Coast from Annapolis to Maine
from October through March. You can sail this boat at any time of year and if the wind doesn't blow, you can
also row it.
